One day, Jesus asked his disciples who do men say that I am ?

Matthew 16:13-17
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 

Some see Jesus as just a Prophet of God 
Some call Jesus a Greet Teacher 
Some Call him an Enlightened person 
Who is Jesus ?

Peter answered 
You're THE CHRIST, SON OF THE LIVING GOD

Jesus is more than a prophet
Jesus is more than a teacher 
Jesus is the son of God , The Christ.

Why is Jesus the Christ ? 
John the baptist was asked if he was the Christ by Regions leaders of those days 
He told them he's not the Christ (John 1:18-24)

So, The priests, The high priest, and the Levites didn't know who Jesus is . 
Religious position ,
Your age , and Your title doesn't determine if you know Jesus Christ .

The religious leaders of those days didn't know who Jesus is, they didn't know he is God .

In John 14:6,
Jesus said I am The Way, the Truth and the Life . No man comes to the father except through me . 
Jesus didn't show them a way 
He told them He is the way.
He's not one of the ways to God 
He is the only way to God .

In verse 8-9 of John 14
Philip ask Jesus to show them the father 
Jesus said , I have been with you for long and you didn't know that whoever ha e seen me have seen my father .

Jesus is the picture of God .
Even disciples didn't know He is God .
They have followed him for over 3 years yet they didn't know that whoever have seen Jesus have seen God .

In Colossians 1:15-20
Jesus is the image of the invisible God 
He is God in the flesh .
In John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the word, the word with God and God was the word .
The word came down and became flesh we call His name Jesus. 

Jesus was CRUCIFIED because he claim to be the son of God (Meaning God ), He was declared to be killed by High priest . In Leviticus 1, it must be the high priest that must offer the lamb of sacrifice, so Jesus is the lamb of God and needs to be declared to be killed by the high priest (Matthew 26)

None of the Angels you can compare with Jesus Christ ( Hebrew 1:1-4)
No angel can save us 
No angel can preach the gospel .
You can't pray in any angel name or prophet name but only in Jesus name .

No religious leader can die for the whole world 
No religious leader can promise anyone Heaven . Only Jesus Christ died for the whole world and He is the only way to Heaven .
