A Pastor wanted to get Christmas gifts from His members . Instead of being sincere and honest to ask openly and anyone can give willingly, he makes effort to manipulate scripture to force members .

He said, two kind of people came to Jesus at his birth; The Shepherds and The wise men. Angels appear to shepherd yet they didn't bring gifts to Jesus . But the wise men didn't see any angel ,yet they brought gifts to Jesus .

Moral : what do you bring to your pastor this Christmas? Are you a shepherd or wise men?

You need to be wise men not shepherd.

This is how many ministers manipulate members to collect money and gifts . Some will even threaten you and force you to give to them. 

One prophet upload his video online telling his members they must bring end of year gift or else he will bill them seriously next year. You will see the frustration in his face .

Now, I don't condemn people giving to their pastor or gifts to men of God . Please do if you have the willingness and capacity but don't be manipulated or forced to give .

Ministers , don't force your members to give to you.

Don't misinteprete scripture because you're hungry. 

For instance, the shepherd may not bring gifts to baby Jesus but they came to worship him . 

No where in scripture did Jesus condemn them for not bringing gifts to him. Don't let hunger make you manipulate scripture to suit your secret agenda. 

Don't be frustrated if members don't give to you , they're not the one that send you message or gave you assignment. Ask the one who sends you. Don't put pressure on members or people who come for prayers as if they owe you.

Back to members , learn to appreciate your leaders. Appreciate them with words and material things of you have capacity. Remember your parents first, give to them before you give to your pastor .
