Deuteronomy 28:12-13

 

The Lord making you the head doesn't necessarily mean you will be CEO of a company or selling more than others in business while that is not bad , but it's not the first agenda of God for you.

 

When we were in school, we have a prayer program tagged "SUCCESS NIGHT" and we tell students to bring their pen for prayer . We all pray to be number 1 , sometimes , four of us are in same class , and I wonder whose prayer God will answer to be number 1 in class . It was later I understand that being the head is beyond being the first in class. 

 

What does it mean to be the head ? It means DOMINION MANDATE . In the beginning, God said Let us make man in our own image and likeness , let them dominate and rule over all we have created - Be fruitful and multiply ( Genesis 1:26-28)

 

HEAD means Ordination from the beginning 

Ephesians 5:23, Husband is the head of the wife . Also Christ is the head of the church.

 

Today, Believers are suppose to exercise dominion in their territory but it's a pity that we have Believers who run away from their house because of witches and wizards . It's like the light running away for darkness instead of darkness running away for light. 

 

Many claim that the witches and wizards owns the world but it's a lie! Psalm 24:1 says THE EARTH IS THE LORD ... it doesn't belong to witches or wizards , we are to be in charge .

Anywhere you are as a believer, you're in charge . Your presence must demolish darkness.

 

Being the HEAD is not about you being the First born of the family. You can be the firstborn and not be the head . It's not about having money that makes you the head , some people don't have money yet the family can't do anything unless they see them .

 

THE HEAD talks about identity. Your head is where your identity is and that's what differentiate you from others. Now, if you don't know who you are in Christ, you don't know your identity! Who are you in Christ ?  

TWO IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT GOD

 

1.GOD HAS INTEGRITY 

2.GOD HAS ABILITY 

 

There are people who can promise us that they will help us , they might have INTEGRITY but might not have ABILITY. For instance, I am a man of Integrity, whatever I say, I am sincere to do it. If I promise all of you 1 Million each , I don't have the Ability yet ,though I have the integrity!

 

Now a well known president of the nation can come and promise each of us 1 million naira , they have the Ability but might not have Integrity.

 

Now, when God promise to Make you the head and not the tail in DEUTERONOMY 28:13

God has the Integrity and Ability 

You can trust His word

He have the ability to do what He says .

 

Allow God to make you

His making may be Slow but steady. 

Stay in the place of Making .

I have offer to be pastor outside C & S but God said , I should stay here , because it's the place of my making . I thank God today. If I had left to another denomination because of money or fame , I will be doing something but out of the place God wants me to be. 

 

Don't be among those who speak evil or gossip. When I was in school, anytime they're talking about evil or bad and they see me approaching, they stop. When people see you coming they should stop the gossip. You're the head , you're the leader . 

 

God always anoint the head 

In Psalm 23 says 

Thought Anoint my head with oil

 

Psalm 24 says Lift up your head oh you gates .

You can be the head and the head bowed 

God doesn't want your head bowed in sorrow

God is the lifter of Head .

 

Psalm 3:3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

God is the one who lifts head high.

 

The Lord will lift up your head in Jesus name 

Amen
