Tithing is not for Christian so no need for tithe card ! Jesus never collect any tithe. None of His Apostles collect any tithe. No tithe card!
The churches in scripture never pay tithe such as Ephesus, Colossians, Corinthians, Thessalonians even church in Rome. None of them have a tithe card!
The idea of tithe card is simply men tradition
Not Bible doctrine for Christians . If a member have a wedding , burial or the member is in need , before the church can help, they will check the person tithe card if he or she pay tithe regularly? If the person doesn't pay tithe, such person is not qualified for help or support infact in some churches, if you die, before the church can bury you, your children must pay all the tithe . It's a debt you must pay!
These things are unscriptural!
Contribution were made for the church in Jerusalem (1 Corinthians 16:1-4) The people in Jerusalem never pay tithe , yet Paul ask the Corinthians church to make contribution to support the members of Jerusalem church without checking their tithe card.
Most of what is practised in churches today are not Biblical and non-Christlike. Tithe Cards are just there so that the pastors can monitor your "faithfulness" at paying your tithes. if what I give is between me and God, why should I be monitored by any pastors after all God loves a cheerful giver not those that are compelled to give by pastors chasing you around with Tithe booklets every Sunday or pastors always blackmailing you with Malachi 3:10.
The levites are the ones that ought to receive tithes on behalf of God because even though they are part of Israel, they were not allowed to inherit piece of land in Israel hence there's no way they could farm and eat, their job is solely to serve God and they live within the temple, the only way God could bring food to their tables is to command other tribes of Israel to pay tithe so that his priests could eat( that is why Malachi 3 says bring all the tithes so that there can be FOOD in my house).
EAT YOUR TITHE
Deut 14:22 Each year, you shall separate the tithes out of all your crops which spring forth from the earth.23 And you shall eat these in the sight of the Lord your God, in the place which he will choose, so that his name may be invoked there: the tenth part of your grain and wine and oil, and the firstborn from the herds and your sheep. So may you learn to fear the Lord your God at all times.
Pastors will never read this part of the bible.
Tithing is for the Jews in the old testament. Nowhere in the new testament were Christians admonished to pay tithe. But instead Christians are enjoined to give cheerfully not by coercion as is evidenced in modern day churches. Failure to pay tithe will not send you to hell. If you are moved by the Spirit to give please do so cheerfully. It is fully between you and the LORD.
