Women NOT entering church is NOT part of C & S doctrine . It is a tradition that can be changed. 

 

Why do they tell women to stay outside church ?

First because then, there was no good mentrual pad to pack the flow. So to avoid stains on white garment that will cause disgrace or shame, elders conclude then that when women are on mentrual period they should stay outside the church.

 

BUT things have changed .

Infact, when a woman is having her period now , if she didn't tell you, how will you know?

We are no longer in the stone age , we are in the information age today.

 

Do you even know that some ladies refuse to come to church when they're on period ? 

Why? So many eyes will be on them that they're on period. Especially those who are seeking for a child , all eyes will be calculating their period for them. This should change ! 

 

Mentrual period isn't a sin o

Oh I know you will bring up boon of LEVITICUS

Okay let's read it ...

 

Leviticus 15:19-20

 

19 “Whenever a woman has her menstrual period, she will be ceremonially unclean for seven days. Anyone who touches her during that time will be unclean until evening.

 

20 Anything on which the woman lies or sits during the time of her period will be unclean.

 

Wait... That's old testament.

We are NOW in the new testament.

It was true for them back then in old testament.

Jesus was yet to come , but now Jesus came and died and gave us a new covenant

Under that new covenant, the temple veil torn from top to down , giving freedom for all to enter the holiest place. Yes !

 

If you say you don't agree 

Okay, I hope you know there is more to law in Leviticus.

 

According to laws in Leviticus, none of our elders should be sitting on altar or enter church

Why?

They shape and barb their hair 

According to law , they're unclean like those women on mentrual period .

 

Read it for yourself.

Leviticus 19:27

Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.

 

Infact, you're not to cut your beards

If you do so, you're unclean like mentrual period.

 

But today , no one sees that as unclean 

But we see women on mentrual period as unclean, is that not a backward thinking?

 

May you be delivered in Jesus name .

 

Okay, if you say women on mentrual period are unclean, why is it that Holyspirit come on them and they enter church from outside to give us message? After message, we push them outside again.

 

Why did Holyspirit not use those so called clean women or men inside church and went ahead to use unclean woman ? 

 

I hope you know that our church building is no longer the temple that God dwells but our own body. Do you mean God will leave when women are on their mentrual period and come back after the mentrual period ? 

 

I pray God will help our elders and leaders to see this simple truth and stop putting bondage and shame on their people.
