Some influential people in the church start Rebellion by seeking for a position in church.
They will start with something that look genuine and sensible .

A rebellion arose within Israel, led by Korah, Dathan, and Abiram; they wanted to usurp the office of the priesthood. They hurled the accusation that ''ye take too much upon you'' (Num 16:3) against Moses and Aaron. The judgment of God fell upon them and the earth swallowed them up. Then the children of Israel, the congregation, gathered against Moses and Aaron and murmured because of the death of these rebels.

Today, we don't Celebrate KORAH BAND  because of the legacy Korah and his rebellious fellow did in their days . Yet we still have Their band in the church presently. People that accuse leaders. They want to forcefully be in position not because they want to serve but they want the honour .

Do you get worried that only sister Bolu always hold microphone? Is she the only one in church? Why is it that only Bro Peter always preach and only sister taiwo that always lead prayer point ? Are they the only one annointed?
Can't we also do the same ? Are they more annointed that us?

If you have such Questions in your heart or you started discussing about issues relating to these listed above , then you should know that you're already in the camp of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.

You may start with a very sensible point like 
They did in scripture. You may say, the work load on them is too much or say we are all anointed and can do the work of God but be careful and watchful especially when you're influential , people listen to you and your opinion . You must be watchful.

Korah, Dathan and Abiram were very influential people . They are gifted and loved by the people yet they desire office of priesthood. Why must PREISTHOOD only be From tribe of Levi? Why not from Judah? Or Reuben ? So they started a protest?

What protest have you started in your church ?
You're now attacking the leaders and elders 
All you want is position of Authority
Even if God had not chosen you
You just want to occupy space .
If you have been treading such road , desist and repent from such mindset and be saved.
