It originated from giving position to those that can finance the church or band . If a man or woman is the one giving more money to church , the leader will make the person Church chairman.

This is why when Bands in the church wants to get BABA EGBE, they won't pray about it to ask who God wants to use , they will ask who have money ? Who can drop 2million for our anniversary. They don't even mind if the person is a Muslim. What they're after is not his soul but his pocket . 

You see Bands in church like Esther band, Deborah band , David Band , Solomon band in competition not to live holy life but to see who can make more money on their Anniversary day. 

Many will even organise awards for their BABA EGBE and IYA EGBE so they can encourage them to give more to the Band . These are not the ways of God but a worldly Pattern .

It's Time for us to go back and seek the face of God . We don't need someone that have money but someone that God had chosen. 

When some of these bands or church want to call a preacher from outside , they no longer look for someone God wants to use to speak they look for someone that will give them money. 

They will say let us invite IYA ADURA or BABA ADURA ,not because such people are prayerful or filled with Holy spirit but we know when they come , they will give 5million or 10 million and above . 

Infact, that's the contract that many youths are doing now , if you want to invite one wealthy woman in C & S , you will sign that whatever money she will give your church , you will give them 20% so they will help you to work it out.

May God deliver our  people .
They are in key positions in churches but not doing the will of God but doing business to use God to make money . Repent and be saved.
