I was invited to a church recently for a Band Anniversary, on the church Altar, I saw about four bible opened on the Altar. 

Some bible on the floor of the altar and as I began to preach, I noticed that the band members don't have bible .

I called them out and ask where is there bible , they were smiling. One of them was spraying the choir money , I told him it's better to collect the money and use it to buy a bible ( Before I left , he bought new bible ) .

I told them they should ask the leader to give them all the bibles opened on altar because it is not angels or 24 Elders neither will the four living creatures come and read those bible opened on the altar. It is for people to read .

Brethren , please if you have bible on your altar and you have members who don't have bible , take that bible on the altar and give the member who don't have bible .

The bible you place on the altar is for human being not for angels . It is for people to read not for decoration of altar.
