Muslims and Christians do not serve the same God, just because Allah means God in Arabic doesn’t mean they’re talking about YAHWEH(JEHOVAH).

Muslims hold that “God is one.” Allah has no partners and assigning partners to him is shirk, the highest blasphemy. Christians believe “God is one in three Persons.” Each Person in the Trinity is fully and eternally God. Yet there is one God. Muslim believe Christians are guilty of the greatest sin–making partners with God.  How can the two be serving the same God? It's far from The Truth! 

The goal of Christianity is the salvation of sinners through the righteousness, substitutionary atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

No Muslim accept that Jesus is the son of God
No Muslim accept Jesus is the only way 
No Muslim accept Jesus died for them 

The core doctrine of Christianity is built on 
Jesus being the Son of The Living God , The only way to God , The truth and The Life . He died for our sins , was buried and rose the third day for our Justification!

John 3:18
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

1 John 2:23
No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

1 John 4:3
but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world

Any Pastor , prophet or Apostle that tell you that Muslims and Christians are serving the same God is yet to know Jesus Christ! Such leader is not worthy to be called a Christian! 

I could go on.  The differences are radical and they lead to wildly different ethics. Sobriety and charity require us to lovingly state this truth and work out the implications.
