Church service is not for buying and selling oil, fruits, perfume or water but fellowship with God and brethren .

 

Jesus met some people buying and selling in the temple in Gospel of Matthew.

 

Matthew 21:12 

"Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves."

 

We held this seminar (picture below) in year 2022, I explained to them from bible stories why no pastor or minister of God should be selling Olive oil, Special Soap, Perfume or even bottle water inside the service for Special Anointing.

 

If Jesus could drive out those who were selling in the temple ,imagine if Jesus come into our various service and meet us selling oil, fruits for promotion, oil for business , don't you think he will drive out many pastors and prophets today ? SURE ! 

 

Once upon a time , some elders that surround Baba Mose Orimolade advise him to be selling Holy Water so He can make money because people believe in the Holy water and do share testimony. 

 

Baba Orimolade Tunolase replied them that God never send him to sell water to anyone neither did God send him to sell oil, soap ,or perfume to any member but to give freely to whoever desire .

 

So, from the foundation of C & S church ,

Moses Orimolade never sell Anointing Oil

He never sell perfume for promotion 

He never sell soap for customers 

He never sell bottle water. Not even once !

 

I hope you know that even the WATER OF LIFE in the book of Revelation is FREE without you paying any money. 

 

Revelation 21:6

"He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life."

 

If the Water of life is free , how come the water in your church is with a price ? 

Why will you buy OJA BASSA for 500,000 Naira ?

Some buy for 200,000 naira , why?

Salvation is Free

Healing is Free

Deliverance is Free

 

When Jesus died on the cross ,

He paid for it all. He gave us inheritance that never fades nor can ever perish waiting for us in heaven.

 

People can give to support the work of God 

People can give willingly from a heart of love 

This is the standard of giving in scripture 

This is acceptable worship to God 

 

In Genesis 4, Cain and Abel worship God with their sacrifices. Abel was accepted and His sacrifice but Cain was rejected and His sacrifice.

 

What makes God Accept Abel sacrifice is not the abundance of the sacrifice. It's not ! Abel came with a true heart and life of Godliness but Cain came with heart of bitterness and jealousy. Such offering from Cain is already polluted.

 

When you go to church to serve God and you harbour bitterness and revenge to the person that offend you, then you're not following Jesus Christ.

 

Jesus forgive even those who never ask for one 

He makes friends with sinners and love them 

He influence them in the path of God .

 

Forgive those who offend you 

Get to a place in Christ where you no longer get offended by anyone . You have grown to overlook insults , pains and fights .

 

Learn to forgive in advance 

Learn to be unoffendable .

Learn to live like Jesus 

 

We serve God more with our life not just with our songs, lips or money. What matters most is your life reflecting Christ Jesus everyday .
