BETRAYAL IN MINISTRY

What does it mean to call someone a Judas ?

The name "JUDAS" doesn't meant "Betrayal" from scripture stand point, it's Hebrew name meaning is PRAISE .

Today the meaning of Judas is now synonymous to Betrayal, traitor , and backstabber because of Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus disciple who betrayed him.

Take note, there is another Judas among the disciple of Jesus Christ (Matthew 13:55) who didn't betray Jesus Christ or anyone.

Now back to the question above

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗮𝘀?

Today, based on the question,we know it means betrayal or traitor.

We have all been betrayed once or more in life .

No one can betray you unless they're close to you

No one can betray you unless you trust them

No one can betray you unless they are trustworthy person.

Jesus had 12 disciples and the only disciple that Jesus could trust with money was Judas Iscariot!

It was Judas Iscariot that betray Jesus for money. He betray Jesus with a kiss .

Beware of those who show you open love but talk evil about you behind your back. Some people are close to you because of money or benefits , when they see someone that have better offer, they will leave you and expose your secret to them.

Judas was so close to Jesus that he knew where Jesus always go to pray. He knew his secret. He knew him well and sell him to enemies.

Always walk with a discerning spirit. Don't allow anyone to be so close to you.

Jesus knew who Judas Iscariot was

You will notice anytime Jesus is going to pray

He never takes Judas along

Only Peter , John and James

Judas was not in the inner circle .

Why? Jesus knew he is a betrayer.

Sharpen your discernment

Love all people but don't be friend with all.

Friendship isn't by force but by choice

Choose your close friend wisely

Be mindful of secret you share with them

A friend today can be enemy tomorrow

They may send screenshots to others

They may blackmail you in future

Beware of friends !

Now , how did Jesus respond? SILENCE

Jesus never abuse Judas

Jesus never say " ha Judas after all the things I did for you..." No he didn't respond .

Don't respond to Betrayal

Keep silent . Don't defend yourself . Let God defend you. When I had my own experience last year, I was just silent. I didn't respond. I didn't abuse them nor pray that God should strike them.

Respond with silence

Respond with love and kindness .

BETRAYALS ARE LADDER TO DESTINY

if Judas didn't betray Jesus how will He die for the whole world ?

If brothers of Joseph didn't betray him ,how will he become prime minister in Egypt!

Always see betrayal as a ladder to destiny

Hold no grudges or bitterness.

Church leaders, pastors and leaders

I know you have many experiences of betrayal

People you showed love and kindness

They suddenly betray you and left

They even left with key members .

Don't curse them . Don't fight them.

Let them go in peace . God will replace them.

See what they did as a test of faith .

Move on with Love .

Keep loving people . Keep being kind .

Be wise . Discern .

Beware of secret you let out

Beware of your close circles

Always walk with divine wisdom .

God bless you all.
