THE SYMBOL OF LOVE IS THE CROSS

The greatest love is not Romantic Love and it is not Mother's love but the Love of God manifested in Christ at Calvary for sinners , everyone of us.

If there will be a day to celebrate true love , it should be Good Friday when people remember the death of Jesus Christ and not February 14.

There is nothing wrong in celebrating loved ones on February 14th but such love is incomparable to the love of God displayed at Calvary.

Jesus said to his disciples, No man have greater love than this , that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). No one can die for you to live but Jesus died for you. He didn't die for you when you repent , He died for us while we were yet sinners!

When Jesus was nailed to the cross, He prayed to God to forgive those who nail and beat him . This is true love . This is God love. A love that doesn't seek revenge.

Many of you wish your ex husband , ex girlfriend, you wish them bad . Sometimes when you remember them you curse them. You even pray to make it so you can show them they make terrible mistakes of their life but that's because you have not seen the love of God .

Paul said , the love of God compel us. Wow, even when Stephen was stoned to death in Act 7:50-57, He prayed that God should not count their sins against them . Saul was there that day, God answered Stephen prayer and raised a Paul for gospel.

This is why I tell people that the symbol of heart is not the description of true love, the description of true love according to scripture is the symbol of the cross . A sacrificial love not a romantic love or lust . A selfless Love not a selfish love .

Until you give your heart to Christ Jesus, someone will soon break your heart. The best place to keep your heart is in Christ not with any man. 

No one can break your heart if your heart is given to Christ Jesus. It is the most secured place in the whole world . Surrender your heart to Christ today , He loves you.
