Lent is a tradition of men not commandment of God . Nothing wrong with fasting and prayer or giving and repentance but it is wrong to tell people not to dance , shout Hallelujah or celebrate during Lent . These are rules of men.

During Lent you can't seat on chair , you must seat on the mat or floor , you can't do house opening or wedding . No celebration. These things are not commandment of God but tradition of men .

Nothing wrong in abiding by such rules or tradition but it wrong that you force it on everyone else .

In conclusion, you're invited to our Anniversary. All we need for the Anniversary had been provided . You're not invited to donate money or sow seed but to celebrate with us.
