In the old testament, prophets are sent to give direction to the people of God but in the new testament, God gave the Believers Holy Spirit to lead and guide them in the right direction.

I have seen people who go to prophets to ask if they should travel or not? If they should buy a car or change their job? See all these things are not the job of a prophet or Man of God .

You may not like these things I am saying but it's the truth. A believer in Christ is meant to be led by Holy Spirit in all your decision NOT to be led by A Man of God or prophets. Paul said, only those led by the Spirit of God are sons of God (Romans 8;14) not led by a prophet. 

Some of you no longer make decisions anymore . You have submitted all your decision to prophets . That's not their job. 

I know some prophets and men of God have taken advantage of this things that if you make a decision and don't ask them about it , they see it as a rebellion. 

If you want to travel , the first person to tell about your travelling is not your prophet but your husband. He's the head over you. He's the one in charge to know if you can go or not . Your prophet don't have such Authority. 

I tell you the truth. Prophets function that way in the old testament because people don't have the spirit of God dwell in them but today we have the spirit .

If you have to wait to hear the voice of God from a prophet or Man of God before you make a decision, you are not growing but a baby.

If you threaten people that they can't make decision right until you see or hear for them, you have made yourself god over them. Repent. Teach them to hear from God .

All they need is Holy Spirit not you.

You're meant to confirm what God is telling them not to give them direction .
