The first mention of Mercy seat is in Exodus 25:17. 

The size of Mercy seat is not too high for anyone neither is it too wide for anyone . It is accessible to all no matter your height.

The mercy of God is not partial. The standard requirement of Mercy is that if you will come , you will receive mercy. Whoever does not receive mercy is not the fault of God.

To get Admission to school, some require minimum of 5 credit but the minimum requirement of throne of mercy is that no one will come that will not be qualified.

In Exodus 25:18-19 The two cherubim shall face each other .

In the house of mercy you don't back the throne of mercy, you face the throne of mercy.

When you hide at the throne of mercy , you back the throne of mercy , so mercy can't speak. If you face the throne of mercy it will cover your sins.

Proverb 28:13 "Whoever cover his sin will not prosper. Confess your sin , this is how to face the throne of mercy. Don't be like Adam who hide .

Saul sin , David also sin . Mercy was available for the two of them. Saul hide his face but Davide confessed , he said I have sinned. He received mercy.

First time we saw the two cherubim in Genesis 3, They came to block the way to Eden. Sword in their midst means judgement. 

Now the two cherubim facing the mercy seat, sword is not in the middle but now mercy seat. 

God already reconciled the world to himself in Christ Jesus and no longer count men sin against them, you can now come boldly to throne of mercy to confess your sins.

You were caught in Adultery, you say , "we're all sinners", you mention "David commited adultery" . Will you want what happen to David repeat in your family? I know you don't .

Come today. Repent. Confess your sins. Mercy is available today.

I pray you receive mercy in Jesus name . Amen.
