Church Anniversary is not for printing Envelope for Special guest where we invite our Wealthy boss or Rich family or preacher that can give our church money.

When Anniversary committee are appointed, the first agenda in their mind is , how can we make money in this Anniversary?

They will ask each other , 

Do you have a wealthy boss ? So we can invite him as Father of the day or Church patron 

Do you have a Very Rich Man in your family? 

Let's know , we will invite him as Special guest .

Even if He's a muslim, He should come 

He may not wait to hear sermon , but must drop Envelope. 

Some will look for Preacher that will donate money for the church . We don't want a preacher that we will have to give honorarium,but a preacher that will bless us financially.

These are worldly patterns that already entered the church . So the whole idea about Anniversary is the Envelope, the Special guest and the income is our goal. We must get more income than last year .

Anniversary is Not for making income , it's for spending and a thanksgiving sacrifice to God .

I hope you know that collecting money/envelope from our Muslim boss or Uncle for Anniversary is not acceptable without them giving their soul to Christ .

When we invite unbelievers and give them special seat in our Anniversary and sing for them to dance just to collect their money even though they don't receive Jesus , we ridicule our faith ! 

When Naaman came to meet Elisha , he was healed and he wanted to give offerings and gift to Elisha

He rejected the gift . He didn't collect the gift. It was not right time to collect gift or offering (2 king 5:1-19)

Naaman felt indebted to God of Isreal because Elisha refused to collect money or offering. How many Muslims have we prayed for in our shiloh service, yet they're yet to receive Jesus and follow him but we do give them Anniversary envelopes to give offerings and make them church patron .

LET US REPENT .

Our Anniversary is March 7th, 2026.
