FORGIVENESS BRINGS HEALING

So many people are holding grudges and bitterness , someone hurt them in their church or family member and they vow never to forgive .

If you know how God forgave you on the cross through the death of Jesus, you will forgive everyone that offend you.

Jesus died for you and me while we were still sinners.

Romans 5:6-8 KJV

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

WHAT A LOVE!

He didn't wait for us to apologise before he died

He didn't wait for us to feel sorry

He died for us while we were yet sinners.

One problem about unforgiveness is that it causes sickness by keeping the body in a prolonged "fight-or-flight" stress state.

Holding onto resentment triggers continuous releases of stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, which elevate blood pressure, weaken the immune system, and increase the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and chronic pain.

๐Ÿ›‘Cardiovascular Strain: Chronic anger and resentment elevate heart rate and blood pressure, significantly increasing the risk of heart disease and strokes.

๐Ÿ›‘Weakened Immune System: The constant flood of stress hormones suppresses the body's natural defenses, leaving you more vulnerable to infections, autoimmune disorders, and inflammation.

๐Ÿ›‘Mental Health Decline: Unforgiveness fuels anxiety and depression, which manifest physically as fatigue, sleep disturbances, and bodily pain.

Forgiving others (and yourself) is an active process that breaks this stress cycle, allowing your body to lower its baseline tension and promote healing.

Paul in his letter to church in Ephesus said

"Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32

Forgive as God for Christ sake hath forgiven you.

Let it go. Stop holding grudges

Stop keeping malice

That's why you don't have peace of mind .

Forgive and let it go.
