" 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗔𝗛 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟯 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 "

 

Yesterday, I said God will never tell you to go naked in prayer so that he can answer your prayer . Your nakedness doesn't seduce God or give you spiritual advantage or make your prayer answer fast, it's a deception! 

 

So, someone said , 

See if you have a prophesy from a trusted person, just follow it . Remember, God told Prophet Isaiah to walk naked for 3 years . So don't doubt prophesy . 

 

First, I told him not to rely on anyone but on the word of God . That's the standard. Even when Paul preached , BEREAN checked it if it was true .

 

You don't follow a prophecy because you trust the person , your trust must be only in scripture!

Does it align with scripture?

Do we have the pattern in scripture?

That's how to judge a prophesy !

 

Now let's solve the Isaiah walking naked issue 

I have seen many quote ISAIAH 20:1-4 

Many of them don't even understand 

They though Isaiah walking in nudity for 3 years .

 

Let's read the scripture 

 

ISAIAH 20:2 👇

At the same time the LORD spoke by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go, and remove the sackcloth from your body, and take your sandals off your feet.” And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

 

NOW NOTE THIS 👇

Remove the sackcloth from your body, and take your sandals off your feet

 

Before this, Isaiah wore an outer garment of sackcloth – clothes of mourning. Now, God tells him to remove his outer garment of sackcloth and to take his sandals off.

 

God would sometimes have his prophets to add to their word a visible sign, to awaken people’s minds to a more serious consideration of the matters proposed to them.

 

NOW WAS ISAIAH WALKING IN NUDITY? 

 

"And he did so, walking naked and barefoot" 

 

We shouldn’t think that Isaiah was nude, completely without clothing. Instead, he only wore the inner garment customary in that day – sort of like wearing only your underwear or a nightshirt. 

 

The message wasn’t nudity, it was complete poverty and humiliation. Isaiah dressed as the poorest and most destitute would dress.

 

This is not evidence for you to pick from scripture that it's biblical to pray naked before God can answer your prayers .

 

NOTE:

NOTHING WRONG IN PRAYING WHILE NAKED

BUT THINKING GOD ANSWER SPECIAL PRAYER WHEN YOU'RE NAKED IS DECEPTION.

 

God didn't tell Isaiah that 

If you naked yourself and pray to me , I will answer your prayers. It wasn't about prayer at all . 

 

Now, wait if you think Isaiah was walking in nudity for 3 years 

Can God tell you that today and you will obey?

Will you walk naked in your street for 3 years? 

 

When you read bible , ask questions 

Read different versions, get study bible 

Pray for proper interpretation.

 

Once again, God will never tell you to go naked before He answer your prayer. No!

 

What you need to naked is not your body but your heart. If you like naked yourself in prayer , if your heart is not naked , your prayers won't be answered .

 

A naked heart is honest and sincere broken heart before God . That's what God desire .

 

It's not about wearing clothes or not wearing clothes or type of clothes in prayer , it's about your heart before God.
