Today, some ministers strategies means of making money from their program so, they will plan to make awards and give people that will drop money .

NOTE:

They won't tell you directly that they're selling the award , they will expect you to know that you should give money for the award.

Award should be given based on ones impact, effort and responsibility. But in church today, they look out for rich people , who can drop money and they give award of 

Preacher of The Year 

Giver of the year 

Minister of the year

It's simply to make money . That's all .

One day, a brother called me that they want to give me award of Apostle of the year.

I ask him " How much is it "?

He smiled, and said it's not for sale but I can drop something. 

Firstly, I don't receive such award

All the awards given to me are under my bed , I just remember them last week when I was rearranging the house .

How do you judge apostle of the year?

How ? What criteria ? 

Only God can judge our work .

You don't rate people based on social media 

You don't rate ministers based on followers 

You don't rate them based on money 

I didn't go to that program 

I understand it's a program to just make money 

And so many programs like that in various church .

I also have awards given to me that they never collect or demand for money but only to encourage the work of ministry. 

But Most Awards you hear are simply 

"FUND RAISING STRATEGY"

That's why they give award yearly

It's to raise money . 

Our eyes should be focused on God's reward not on men awards. The award of men might not be sincere. It might be to get money from you . 

Be focus on heavenly reward from God . This is far more important than earthly awards!
