I once asked a brother in church why he cheats and he said, 'Men are naturally promiscuous. So, because I'm cheating doesn't mean I don't love my fiancee. ' 

 

It was a shock to me when I hear him say such thing, he's one of the choir member and I know he cheats on his fiancée . He claim it's normal for a man to cheat and it doesn't mean you don't love your woman .

 

 A lady also said , 'African men have it automatically inclined in their genetic coding. The code must express itself no matter what. They are genetically wired to cheat. They must be promiscuous whether they like it or not'. 

 

From her statement, I could deduce that perhaps, the men in her lives had one way or the other cheated on her. Hence, her bitterness because all that was obvious in her statement was bitterness.

 

Many sisters carry this mentality in their head that a man must cheat and if they marry, there is this expectation that it's normal for their husband to cheat on them . 

 

I even heared a sister in church saying, see I told my husband that it's okay for him to cheat but just take care of me . Give me money to take care of my children and you can do whatever you like with your body . 

 

Wait! He can do whatever he likes with his body? What if he got infection? Won't he transmit infection to you? Do you know how many husband had transmitted infections to their innocent wife simply because she sees it normal for her husband to be PROMISCUOUS!

 

Our society isn't helping matters . If a man cheat on his wife , they will tell the wife to forgive him even after many times . The husband become so confident that even the woman parents will tell her that she had to endure a cheating husband that if she leaves , she will be the loser . They tell her it's natural for a man to cheat .

 

Yet, if the wife is the one that is caught cheating, no one says it's natural for a woman to cheat. They will tell the husband never to trust her again but divorce her . Yet they will never tell a woman to divorce her husband for cheating on her .

 

What does the scripture says over a man that cheat on his wife ? 

Proverb 6:32 

One who commits adultery with a woman is lacking sense; He who would destroy himself commits it.

 

Any man that commit Adultery, it doesn't matter his title in church , his position,or age . Any man who commit Adultery with a woman is LACKING SENSE ; He who who would destroy himself commits Adultery. 

 

Men cheats not because they were born to cheat but because they lack sense ! That's the simple reason. Any man that cheat on his wife is lacking sense .

 

Nobody is born promiscuous. Men overtime learnt to be promiscuous and that's as a result of gender. It's cultural. They are not naturally promiscuous. They are mostly a product of the mind which is a by product of their environment'. Hence, it's not biological or natural to cheat. It's as a result of gender-- the societal, cultural beliefs and norms expected of males.

 

If your partner is not doing very well in an area, it's yours to correct them. Help them improve. Don't assume it's natural for them to cheat. It's not just right! If men are naturally born promiscuous, then women are not an exception! I mean both of them are born promiscuous then. However, that's not the case.

 

Let us live pure and righteous without blemish. No one who commits Adultery will enter the kingdom of God . REPENT today.
