PRAY and be led by the Spirit of God.

Don't be led by fame , followers or trending video.

 

Many times , when you appoint committee to chose a pastor to preach or song minister, we go online to look for people whose video are trending.

 

Some we look for popular pastors that can draw crowd. Popular singers that their picture will pull crowd. These things are worldly ways in church .

 

Many of you invite pastors, prophets because they're well known .

 

They have many followers .

 

You want to brag that, a well known man of God came to your church to minister .

 

You want to use that to draw crowd , you don't even ask if that's who God wants to use 

 

You assume that the man is so good and he will deliver . 

 

This is a challenge

Church committee 

Anniversary committee

 

How and what criteria do you invite someone to minister 

 

We need to check our motive .

 

Someone can be good and God not use them for this particular program . He may decide to use someone unknown , not famous, not trending but yet a vessel for Him .

 

If the motive for inviting a man of God is because 

He's popular, trending online , or his name and picture will pull crowd , you have departed from the way of the Lord to depend on mere men .

 

This may not make sense to many people because we have more worldly brothers and sisters now in church who are the ones to plan for program . They don't wait on God , they go for trends . They use their money to do whatever they want not the will of God .
