Does your pastor PREACH MORE about tithe, offering and sowing financial seeds than the gospel of Jesus Christ ? If YES , then His or her heart is after Money. 

If your pastor always flaunt His Material wealth and properties as evidence of His Anointing and Calling as Genuine, then your pastor is serving mammon not God ! 

A godly shepherd is not greedy, stingy, or financially ambitious. His focus is not on his bank account, but on the building up of the church to greater spiritual growth and godliness—that is his true reward. 

When the apostle Paul warned of the climactic evil to come “in the last days,” he said, “People will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive” (2 Timothy 3:2) — anticipated by the religious leaders of Jesus’s day, the Pharisees, who were also “lovers of money” (Luke 16:24).

For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. (1 Tim. 6:6–11)

Christians, of all people, have come to know that our life does not consist in what we have on earth but whom we have in heaven. We look upward, with eternity in view, to “take hold of that which is truly life” (1 Timothy 6:19), not the temporal and earthly.
