If you want a peaceful home , don't take your mother as first priority and not even second . Your wife should come second , take God as first priority.

Any marriage where the mother is the one dictating what decision they should make or what the husband should do, such home have no future.

Beware of single brothers that always claim their mother is the number 1, you will not enjoy marriage with them. Many of them are mummy's pet regardless of their age.

Before they make a decision, their mother must be the one that have final say . Such men are still baby. You will have serious problem with him.

This is why mother's in law and wife do fight . The problem is that the wife is not taken as priority over the mother .

Don't marry a woman you can't love more than your mother. Don't ! You will have serious problem. And don't marry a woman you love more than God. Your first love must be for God!

How will you know if you place your mother above your wife ?

When you can't make any decision with your wife alone unless your mother comes in to command what you should do.

Anytime your mother wants to visit you, she only calls you not your wife. Sometimes you even forgot to tell your wife that your mother wants to visit.

You make your wife know that you love your mother more and whatever she says is what you will do.
